  1. Carl- you rock! I’ve spoken to you a couple of times a few years ago when you did a couple of worship con ferences with Nelson Miranda @his then home church in Rochester, Mi. Had my drummer son w/me at one of them. You were a great encouragement and inspiration to him. He has gone on to be a great worship drummer in his hometown. God’s best to you!

  2. Hey Carl, finally awesome to see your updates, the last time I saw you was in 2006 at the International Convention in Dallas TX. I even attended your private lessons, and classes. My question is I left an awesome church family, in 2009 to come home and be with my family. I currently am attending a spirit filled church, and God has given me the talent of being a musician in the field of drums and percussion, the question is if my current church does not give me the opportunity, to play, drums, do I look for a church that will have that opportunity. Its not that I just want to go to church to play drums, its just I worship in the presence of the Lord, when commuting to work, and what I vision is me playing the drums, on most of the songs, that I listen to, i know that I have had the calling to be a worship musician, my last home church even told me my style of playing is like the style of Carl Albrecht. Paul knows my name, I think that is a blessing as well as his ministry and his band. I just wanted to mention that, everytime, I attend my current church I miss the moment of playing drums, and playing for the Lord. Blessing to you Carl and to Paul and the Band, If your ever in Texas again, I would love to see you again, and eventually like to take private lessons from you in TN. Take Care God Bless

    • Hey Mike, I understand your situation. — In all things “pray a lot” – 🙂 Ask the Lord where he wants you to be for fellowship & growth. Be availalbe to those in leadership for a time to serve(play). Maybe even offer to go through a process of auditioning, or playing at rehearsals to see how it goes, AND let the leaders decide. Be at peace about whatever the decision may be. Stay humble and willing to serve & take instruction. // If there is just no place for you there,,, ask the Lord if you are to be there for growth & fellowship and look for other opportunities to play. // OR see if it’s time to move to another fellowship… BUT only if you can move on and “keep your heart” right about the move. Always be a blessing to the church(es) wherever you go. Blessings on your journey, Carl
